En route to the site of Victoria Falls we pass by the "Spar" to try to buy something to make a picnic. The store is large but the shelves are empty in small grocery stores. Not long now before the tail store but no bread to sell in, or crackers and even less fresh produce.
We return to the shop where we bought crackers two days earlier and then, surprise, their price has risen from 45 to 110 million, an inflation of 144% in two days and much loss of purchasing power ... We fall back on some bananas, it will be our lunch.
